“The no brainer good cause is simply a reflection of my basic desire of wanting to see a difference.
Every year Lenox Financial gives thousands of dollars to different charities, but it’s always broken down in little pieces and most of them say that they are a non-profit organization. If you understand a profit and loss statement, which is basically the profit of the company after expenses, and if you understand that the salaries of the officers of those non-profit companies are legitimate expenses, then technically these non-profit organizations can simply increase the salaries of the people involved to the degree where they can actually manipulate how much money is going into their pockets versus how much money is going out.
So what I would like to do is give you the opportunity on this website to nominate what you think is a good cause, and then other potential customers, or anybody else who does business with Lenox Financial, can vote on what they think the single good cause for this year should be. At the end of the year, Lenox Financial will take all the money that we plan to donate this year (hopefully thousands and thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars since our donation is a reflection of our business) and publish the amount to this site. You will be able to go to the “no brainer good cause” section on this website and nominate your good cause, and then you can vote on the good cause and whichever good cause it is, we are going to give all the money to that one good cause. We will publish the selected “no brainer good cause” on this site the next year and provide more information about it.
What we really want to see is an impact, like the TV programs where they build somebody a house. We just want to make a difference in someone’s life because that gives us the most reward, rather than just giving money to an organization and letting that organization do whatever it wants. We’d rather see the money go firsthand to someone or a group of people that really need it. So nominate something that is really special and means something to you. I really want the money donated by Lenox Financial to go where it is most needed and can make a measurable difference.”
